CEOs' letter to President Biden on Vietnam vaccine donations

2021 Sep 4th

In August, 90 CEOs of the leading U.S. companies have called on President Joseph R. Biden to boost vaccine donations to Vietnam.

For the past 18 months, we’ve worked hard to keep our employees safe from this terrible virus – both in the U.S. and around the world. It is in this vein, we are asking you to accelerate the donation of vaccines and other materials to help keep Vietnam on a footing so it can quickly recover. As this crisis is now hitting our employees and their families in Vietnam, it is very much our crisis too.” – the CEOs stated in the letter, as well as emphasized the U.S. is best placed to provide the support needed to help Vietnam manage the current outbreak of Covid-19.
